Welcome to The Norfolk Naturalist.
With time, there has come a longing to re-awaken a slumbering curiosity about the natural world. These writings seek to bridge the gap between an idyllic childhood in rural Worcestershire and adult family life in Norfolk. Interweaving field notes and observations, I cheerfully discover how much I don't know about the Great British countryside and seek to rectify the situation. Join me as I ramble and amble across East Anglia and beyond, and document it through the seasons.
